"The Secret She Can't Hide" by India Grey

My Book Summary : Four years ago, Kate spent the night with a sexy world-famous racing driver named Cristiano that changed both of their lives for good. However, during the following day at Cristiano's race he gets into a car accident that sends him into the hospital and has them loose touch ....

Now four years later Cristiano is making media waves about coming back to the racing world. Because of that, Kate's friends believe now is the perfect time for her find out what happened between them and to inform Cristiano that they have a child together. Sad to say seeing each other again just isn't the same as it used to be. Cristiano has become a harder tougher person, then the person he used to be with her. But when old sparks show up between them will that be enough to start bringing their lives back together? Let alone what will happen once Cristiano hears about his 4-year-old son...

My Book Review : 4 out of 5 stars!! This fast-paced, drama-filled, roller coaster of a novel was one I didn't want to put down!! I loved how this story flows from the scenes surrounding Cristiano's crash to Kate and Cristiano's reunion to how they try to work it all out in the end it was just great. Kate is a bundle of nerves that life just keeps proving to her that she should worry about the things she does. Cristiano believes that he needs to prove himself to everyone no matter the cost. Somehow, they just seem to work together.

I recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys reading stories about racecar drivers and/or anyone who just enjoys romance novels!

Book Teaser(s) :
'Well?'
His heavy-lidded eyes were mocking, but she found the laughter that had been bubbling up inside her had vanished and she couldn't joke about it any more.
'It was...special.' She stared down into her mug. Her voice sounded husky with the emotions she was trying to hold back. 'It was good. Not just the s-sex bit, but all of it.' ~ within Chapter 5
