"Her Warriors’ Three Wishes" [Dante’s Circle Series, Book 2] by Carrie Ann Ryan

My Book Summary : Over a year ago Jamie, and six of her best girl friends, were struck by lightening and it changed her life forever. Jamie's friends and her found that because of the lightening they were going to change from humans into different supernatural beings once they find their "true half/halves." Jamie's problem is that she found her true half a year ago; a Warrior Angel named Ambrose, who was a coward and walked away from her not long after they met. Now a year has passed and because they have yet to bond, Jamie is dying. Once Ambrose sees her again, he knows he has to get over his cowardliness and bond with Jamie. However, before he has a chance to prove himself that he's worthy of her, an enemy of Ambrose's named Pyro, a very evil demon, kidnaps Jamie and brings her to hell to torture her and more. While in hell Jamie gets sold to the demon games and learns that Ambrose might not be the only one who is her true half, Pyro's "good" son--Balin--is also. If only Ambrose, Jamie, and Balin can find a way to bond together, break out of hell, and work out a future that they are all happy with before anything worse comes their way.

My Book Review : 3.5 out of 5 stars, three people find out what it means to really meet their true halves even in the direst circumstances. I liked the build up of this novel, how it showed many different realms, and how Jamie finds that not everyone is as welcoming to the girls’ new powers as her friend Lily first found. I am curious as to see what Jamie's other friends will turn into and if Nadie and Dante will end up together.

Jamie, Balin, and Ambrose are a unique couple that will be interesting to see how their lives will turn out as this series progresses. I especially enjoyed that the guys were open to the unusual changes in their lives as much as they were, definitely quicker then Jamie was.

I recommend this novel and series to anyone who enjoys paranormal romances!

"I'll explain everything."
"The place is on lockdown at night, Balin," Hunter explained, and Balin nodded. "We won't be able to get out until they open it back up."
"I know, but I can get you out when they open. I'm a demon, and they won't look twice at me bringing Jamie out." They'd just think he was taking her for some personal play, but he wasn't about to tell Jamie that.
"Me and Hunter," she corrected.
Balin cast a look toward the prized fighter who was rumored to be a good man, hence why he'd become a prisoner in hell.
"Fine, Hunter as well."
"Before we do any of this, you're going to explain to me exactly who you are and why I feel the need to wrap myself around you and never let go," Jamie said, her chin raised high.
Balin smiled and bit back a groan at the thought of her doing just that. "We're true halves, Jamie."
"And, what about Ambrose?" Her voice cracked when she said his name, and Balin wanted to curse himself.
"Why can't you have us both?" he asked, and Hunter rolled his eyes.
"Both?" she squeaked. ~ within Chapter 6
Balin looked over at Ambrose. "Do you have a plan?"
"I know of a way out of the cells if we're quick when the time comes. However, I can't get out of hell as easily. That's where you come in."
Balin shook his head. "I can't. At least not yet." Balin gave him a look full of meaning, and Ambrose held back a curse.
Of course Balin couldn't. Dante had said the demon was reaching his three hundredth year, meaning he wouldn't have the power or energy to get out of hell. The only way would be if he mated with his true half---or in his case, his triad.
Meaning they'd have to convince Jamie to form the bond in truth in the middle of hell.
Meaning he'd have to convince her to make love with two men in the middle of hell.
Yes, that seemed like an easy feat.
Much like building Rome. ~ within Chapter 7
